Project member Skyod pa skyabs recorded these songs in Dpon ru Tibetan Village, Zho ‘ong Township, Reb gong County, Rma lhao Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, PRC. During July 2008, he recorded sixteen songs, including praise and play songs.

During August 2008 Pad ma rdo rje recorded these songs in Rdza stod Township, (Khrid ‘dud County, Yul shul Prefecture, Qinghai Province, PR China). He recorded fourteen songs, which fell into folk, work, love, and religious song genres. Here we present three of those genres: religious, love, and working.
