The Plateau Music Project

Huqianma is a Pumi from Ninglang County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. During January and February of 2008, she recorded thirteen Pumi songs in her village. She has now made seven CDs of the songs which she plans to bring back to the village and give to the singers and their families.
